Freeze Baby

It is starting to get really brisk in our part of the country now. Fall is setting in, and although I prefer summer, I have to admit that I am enjoying these crisp and sunny Autumn days.

Ella wanted to hang out on the deck last night while hubby was grilling hamburgers. He put on her little sweater and once he zippered her up and put her hoodie on, I could not resist taking pictures of her face. Besides thinking that my child has the most beautiful face, I have always been into faces. They are one of my favorite things to photograph....Especially hers!

You might notice that I use my 55-200mm lens all the time (I really need to get more diverse and buy a new one....someday). I just love to zoom in on things. There is so much to inspect in a close up photo. I could find something different and new each time I look. So, I hope I am not boring you by using the same lens all the time. :)

I saved two of my favorite photos from this group to use for Best Shot Monday. So if you liked these, please be sure to stop back and see my best shots on Monday!

  2. All of these turned out so well! Ella is quite the "poser" for you! I'm telling you, you might want to get her an agent now! Hollywood is in her future! :)

  5. Jaimme's right - get that girl an agent now! My gosh, she is just too cute, and she's got the it factor. That third photo kills me. But they are all great, she's such a drama queen!

And I love that sweather and am envious of the cold weather!

  6. Yep, just too adorable for words! You need to get a wide angle lens, too. That definitely gives you a different view on things. :)
