BSM - The Dead of Winter

This is the most I've got around here to take pictures of when I am outside. I envy the red berries people come up with at this time of the year. Everything is cold and bare here. Today was close to 40 degrees though, and I didnt wear a coat. I could almost smell the scent of Spring being right around the corner. Could've been wishful thinking......

  1. all that dreariness, and still you manage to capture a lovely shot. Looks so delicate and soft (!!!) the way you show it. Hoping for some warmer weather soon for you...this weekend was gorgeous here, in the 50s! Ahhhhh

  6. Great close up, I like the gentle dip in the branch, turned out great. I'm wishful for spring too. My iris have started poking up and it makes me hopeful. :)

  7. Beautiful shot! The weather has been nice the last few days...much better than last week! Our trees are getting a little bare. The crabapple in teh back has been picked clean by the squirrels and the deer have cleaned off the bottom of the one in front. At least they are getting eaten by the critters and not fodder for the lawn mower in the spring. :)
