Team Up Thursday - Week 9

This week Christina and I went with the theme Negative Space. We debated doing the theme Spring, but when we talked, Christina had snow in Texas and everything here in Minnesota was brown and dreary. The funny thing is, we both agreed that our shots could have been used for a theme of Spring as well. Weird how it worked out that way!

I have been into the trees around my house lately because it really is the only thing that is starting to change and show some life around here. The new fuzzy buds just tickle my fancy.

I'm so glad Christina chose a dandelion. I think that they are so delicate and detailed. I told her I cant wait for those weeds to start popping up around here again so I can shoot them.

    First of all, for some reason I always feel like I'm cheating when I comment before Thursday. But you came up on my reader so I'm justifying it with that.

    You guys rocked it this week!! That could totally be enlarged and framed. What are those fuzzy things?? I l just love them. Someone mentioned pussy willows to me the other day and I've been looking for them. Those remind me of pussy willows. Sweet you guys.

    You both always deliver. I like how even though yours is a new bud and hers is an old they both would be described as fuzzy. The negative space is great too.

    i love how you put the diptych together, with the negative space all in the middle and the plants peeking in from the top and left bottom -- what a terrific theme and great execution! these are wonderful separately and together.

    These are spectacular! I love everything about each shot separately and together, well, their even better.

    Your photo is the perfect answer to negative space. I adore the shade of blue, and the soft fuzzy buds. You're quite right, this could easily work for spring as well!

    Trees are great! I love photographing the trees around here too. :) Great take on negative space, I like how you both of light colors for the space around your item in focus.
