Christina and I chose hands this week and we each looked at them from a different perspective.
I like hands. Some people like legs. Some people like feet. I happen to think hands are interesting. Hands are unique. I love those gritty black and white shots of aged hands that look like they are hard worked. The ones with wrinkles and liver spots that have so much character in them. There are the strong hands of a parent that radiate protection and love. The often dirty hands of a child that explore with such curiosity. And the soft hands of a baby that provide him/herself comfort and show so much potential. Hands tell a story about each person and leave me with questions about their lives in any scenario. I like hands.
What did you show this week for Team Up Thursday?
I love hands to for all those same reasons. I find myself trying to capture the boys hands while doing something. What gorgeous shots you guys took. I was telling Christina that you are giving me back fever with these beautiful baby pictures.
ReplyDeleteOh my Joanna. I am not sure she could be any more precious.
ReplyDeleteAw, is she sucking her fingers?? My oldest used to do that. Love it. She is just adorable. Both together, lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable shot! I think you're right that hands do tell a lot about people and the kind of person and life they lead. Nice combo. :)
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous...I love her pudgy little baby hands!
ReplyDeletehands really do say so much about a person...more than anything else, except maybe eyes! there's such a story in a pair of hands. I just don't know how you get anything done with Olivia's sweetness pulling you in!
