Best Shot Monday

I have been amazed lately at how much Ella has grown. Those legs! Those legs stretch a mile long! She now reaches from one end of her bed to the other (its the crib that you take the front off and turn it into a day bed). We are soon going to have to convert it to a full size bed. Since its been getting warmer here, Ella has been wearing nightgowns to bed instead of full on fleece jammies from head to toe. I swear her legs grew a foot over the winter! I could also tell nearing the end of winter that she was growing out of her size 4T jeans.. My toddler is almost into 'girl size' clothes....I cant even believe it.

  1. Sigh. I can relate. I have my own little long-legged colt here. I'm so scared of her outgrowing 4T...

  2. Oh, my I can so relate. I swear they do grow inches overnight. I resisted the switch to big girl clothes as long as possible. Beautiful shot of those long legs.

I just pulled all of Em's old 4T clothes out for Ad for the summer and some of them...may not make it through the summer!

  5. I'm soooo feelin' ya, mama! What a great shot showing how our girls aren't babies anymore. Mia's still in her 4T's, but I'm sure she'll grow out of them soon...I still love that she's in feetsie jammies...even though she's almost too long for them!

  6. Oh goodness, I totally understand where you are coming from! Anya is almost grown out of her 4T's, too, and she hasn't turned 4 yet!

That is such a sweet shot of her little legs, too. :)

  7. I love the texture in the carpet juxtaposed to the smoothness of her little legs! Such a great capture!

  8. Her legs seem to glow in this shot. Well done. You wait until your little toddler is half a head taller than you!!!!! :-( She still tries to sit on my lap though :-)

  10. Why is it that their legs tell so much about how much they are growing??? I'm constantly amazed at how much Caden's legs are losing their chunky, baby look and turning into little boy legs...makes me sad, but excited to see who he will become all at once!
