BSM - Time to Rest

Her eyes are tired, watery and pink. Her nose is constantly running and quite raw at this point and that phlegmy cough in her chest sounds like it hurts.

No matter how hard you try, it is inevitable. I make her wash her hands 50 times a day, use Purell constantly, and treat her cousins like they have the plague when they are sick (love you guys), and still end up sick.

How do you get a toddler to rest and relax? She still wants to bounce off the walls and act like all is good. Guess all is good in her world. On the flip side, I am glad she is not bogged down with a fever. Things could definitely be worse. Knock on wood....

  1. Poor baby. Do hope she's well soon. I have one child who milks being sick for everything and I have one child who is like Ella and would rather be up and about. I prefer the up and about.

  4. I hope she feels better soon. My boys always perk up with Motrin and then bounce of the walls till it wears off and then they crash.

  5. I hope she starts feeling better soon. It is definitely going around! :( At least she didn't get the flu and the fever. Then you wouldn't have to tell her to rest...she would be exhausted. They just push their little bodies so hard, don't they??

  7. How do you get a kid to rest? GOOD QUESTION! Poor 'lil darling. at least it hasn't totally knocked her out - but in some ways it would be easier if it did. Hope she's better soon!

  8. I hope she's feeling better. It's a wonderful picture. I like the blurred side of her face somehow that contributes to the idea of illness but at the same she holds on to all her prettiness. :)
