BSM - The Wanderer

This is how I have been feeling lately since I had to send my camera off to Nikon to get repaired. My auto focus was off and I could deny it no longer! I would take a great series of shots and then upload them to the computer. Once I saw them on the computer, I was so disappointed how unsharp they were. I held off as long as I could, but figured I had better send it off so I could make sure to have it back by Christmas.

I know I haven't posted much lately...more on that probably next week.....but I will probably be delving into my archives for posts until my camera gets back.

If I don't post before then, I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. And *rah rah* to all you day after Thanksgiving shoppers! Go get 'em!

  1. Joanna -
I'm in the same exact boat. My auto-focus is off, I know it needs a good clean, but I'm paranoid I won't get it back in time for Christmas. I just don't know what to do...I should just go figure out how long they expect it will take from Nikon, huh?

But I love the photo - the light and color are just gorgeous!

  2. I would be crazy without my camera too. It will be worth it once you get it back. Can't wait to see some shots from your archives.

  3. your archives are full of great stuff!!

my camera is having similar issues. I just can't justify the time OR money to have it fixed tho!! I haven't been taking that many pics latey, but I know that the second it left my hands - I'd be aching for photo opportunities everywhere. It will all be so worth it when you get your perfectly working baby back, tho!

  4. Wonderful shot of Ella. :)

Hope they get your camera serviced quickly. I have been having a few issues with my gear lately, too. I'm not sure if it is my lens or my camera...but mostly like it is both! Mostly I am really yearning for a new camera. Mine is just having a hard time keeping up with what I expect it to do. The winter months make it so hard to get decent shots with the lack of daylight and outside time. I'm not looking forward to that.
